The group house at the edge of the forest, a sunny meadow in front
At the forest edge above Osterode

A whole house, just for you.

Room for up to 30, thirteen bedrooms, the forest behind the house and the town down in the valley. You always have the whole place to yourselves.

The house

Together, with no neighbours in earshot.

The house stands on its own at the edge of the forest above Osterode. No through road, no neighbours – and still only a ten-minute walk to the station.

Inside there's room for everyone: a big kitchen with long tables, your own bar, a fireplace room and a conservatory. Outside you'll find a panoramic sauna, an outdoor kitchen, a playground and the woods.

You cater for yourselves and set your own pace.

A bit of history

Once a restaurant, soon your group house.

Many in Osterode still remember the house as the Tilman Riemenschneider restaurant. The famous woodcarver spent his childhood in Osterode, and his relief still decorates the old fireplace.

We're renovating the house from the ground up. The old name stays on as a small nod to the past: the Tilman Riemenschneider House.
